SOAC – Baton Rouge’s Ultimate Summer Camp
Southern Oaks Athletic Club is the premier facility for summer camps in the Baton Rouge area. Kids of all ages have access to a number of great amenities and counselors. We offer a fun and safe environment for anything from themed games/activities, kids cardio, crafts, swimming, tennis and more. We want to help make your life easier at SOAC… let us handle the kiddos!

F.A.S.T. Camp offers a variety of activities. SOAC does something fun and different each day ranging from slip-n-sliding to water balloon launching! Our counselors keep a close eye on the campers and make sure they have a great time. Activities will change slightly within stations to adhere to each camper’s age and interests.
NEW FEATURES to F.A.S.T. Camp this year
Campers can choose an activity of emphasis for your child depending on your child’s interest. You will have the choice of three areas: Tennis, Fitness or Art. Choosing the TENNIS EMPHASIS makes this camp the traditional tennis camp with the option to stay the whole day and swim.

Sample Daily Schedule
8:00-8:30 drop off and check in
8:30-9:00 ice breaker and breakout groups
10:00-10:15 snack (provided by counselors)
10:15-11:00 tennis/fitness/art (depends on EMPHASIS)
11:00-11:30 chill break and mid day greeting
11:30-12:30 lunch and half day campers check out
12:30-2:00 group A swims and group B team games
2:00-3:30 group B swims and group A team games
3:30-4:00 wrap up and prepare for pick up
Drinks and extra snacks can be purchased at the pool cabana and in the clubhouse lobby.

SUMMER CAMP CANCELLATION POLICY
Members: A $75 deposit per child, per session is due at the time of registration in order to secure your camper’s spot. This is a non-refundable deposit barring medical issues (see below). This deposit is applied towards the camp fees.
Non-Members: Must pay camp fees in full at time of registration. $75 is reserved for non-refundable deposit barring medical issues (see below).
First, we would like to encourage you to simply move to another session so your child can experience summer camp at SOAC. However, we understand that things come up and you may need to cancel altogether. To do so, please call 318-548-4307 or email us with this information.
- The $75 deposit is non-refundable or transferable at any time, except for medical reasons and accompanied by a doctor’s note.
- If cancellation occurs more than 30 days till the start of session, then any prepaid camp fees (minus the $75 non-refundable deposit) will be refunded.
- If cancellation occurs 15-30 days till the start of session, then 50% of prepaid camp fees will be refunded.
- If cancellation occurs within 14 days till the start of session, then no prepaid camp fees will be refunded.
MEDICAL REASON FOR CANCELLATION
We understand that medical issues may arise, please notify us as soon as possible of your need to either cancel or reschedule. If your child is ill along with a written doctor’s excuse and if there is availability for future sessions, we will try our best to move your camper to another session.
